Page 6 · Same Names
Seven tokens called AMC
7 separate contracts on Robinhood Chain carry the registered name of AMC Entertainment Holdings Inc. None of them is the one Robinhood issues. Telling them apart depends on a suffix in a name field that anybody can type. Why each name was chosen is not something the chain records, and nothing here infers it.
The difference
One suffix and a supply that is not a round number
Robinhood’s issuance
AMC Entertainment Holdings, Inc. • Robinhood Token
Another token of the same name
AMC Entertainment Holdings Inc
Robinhood’s token ends its name with the words “Robinhood Token” and uses a lower-case symbol. Its supply is 17,167.045, a figure that moves when shares are created or redeemed. Each of the seven carries a supply of exactly one billion, the default a launchpad mints.
Nothing on the chain enforces the naming. The suffix is a convention in a text field, and a launchpad writes whatever a deployer types. Several of these contracts share an address ending in 1e18, a vanity string belonging to one launchpad, which is not a mark of authenticity either way.
The register
Every contract carrying a company’s registered name
Found by scanning every token that appears opposite AMC, HIMS or NVDA in a pool, then keeping those whose name normalises to a registered company name exactly, without the issuance marker. Liquidity is the total across every pool the token appears in. Only AMC has any: no token on the chain is named simply NVIDIA, or Hims & Hers Health.

The size of the problem
Large on paper, barely traded
The largest of these pools reports $833,136 of liquidity, which would make it the second-largest position on the AMC side of the chain. Its trading over the day measured was $9.
A reserve that size supported by that little trading is a nominal figure rather than money anybody is moving. Whatever these contracts are for, very little is changing hands in them at the moment.
Robinhood’s support pages for Robinhood Chain publish the chain identifier, the node address and the explorer. Contract addresses for the stock tokens are not on those pages, which point to the developer documentation for asset details; that documentation was not checked here. A reader identifying a token today can compare its name suffix and its supply against the table above.
Method, and two corrections
What was measured and what was said
Pool sizes, prices and token names come from the GeckoTerminal API for the chain, captured at 31 August 2026, 07:51 UTC. Token supply and the chain identifier were read from the public Robinhood Chain node, which is not an archive node, so historical supply could not be replayed. Share prices are the closes of Friday 28 August 2026.
Claims sourced from X are labelled as reported throughout, and they are evidence of what was said rather than of what was true. Three of them were checkable and checked: two contract addresses quoted in posts match the census, and a $39 price quoted by traders matches the measured hourly close of $39.67.
Three faults were found and fixed while the report was being assembled, and each had produced a wrong figure first. Pagination treated a rate-limited reply as the end of a list, which reported a 93-pool token as having 60. Unfiltered reserves put memecoin liquidity against NVDA at $177 million, of which two pools accounted for 98.6% while trading $332 and $4 in a day; the corrected figure is $12.8 million. And the name test above was a substring match, which counted 13 NVDA pools that are nothing of the kind: the letters of NVIDIA sit inside INVIDIA, so Cult of Nvidia, NVIDIA CAT and Dawn the NVidia fairy were all swept in. Matching the normalised name exactly leaves seven contracts, all of them AMC.
Pools of that kind are now flagged rather than removed, and the census records where a page of results failed instead of stopping quietly. The NVDA count remains incomplete for that reason: the eleventh page of its pool list returned an authorisation error, so its totals are floors.
Still open
- Whether AMC’s supply moves off 17,167.045 once the market opens. That is the direct test of the mechanism.
- The HIMS mint reconstructed from transfer events rather than from reports, which the node can still serve over a bounded range.
- What the market maker who re-pegged MSTR actually earned, measurable from that pool’s trades.
- Whether the liquidity in the same-name pools is genuine or circular, answerable from the trade history of that one pool.
